Queensland AOD Services
Brisbane AOD Services (Moonyah)
Brisbane AOD Services are located on Turrbal and Yuggera land in Red Hill, Brisbane. These services provide residential and non-residential services to adults wanting to address problematic substance use.
We provide a 16-bed withdrawal management (detox) unit for mild to moderate withdrawal, where participants generally stay for seven to 10 days. Participants stay in dormitory accommodation.
We provide an 80-bed residential rehabilitation program, where participants stay onsite and complete a three-month program. Participants have their own room with shared bathrooms.
We also deliver a non-residential rehabilitation day program and one-to-one support at various locations around Brisbane.
Participants can access pre-treatment support in the community and post-treatment support upon exit from the withdrawal management unit or residential program. Transitional support is provided through one-to-one support, including case management, education and referral.
Brisbane AOD Services have established relationships with an array of external service providers. An individual goal plan will be created at the beginning of treatment and will remain a live document through the duration of the program. This plan will identify those services which will further support an individual’s journey during the program and post-treatment.
Brisbane AOD Services aims to provide opportunities for participants to further strengthen their connection to community through engaging in healthy social activities. The residential rehabilitation program includes weekly guest presenters from external services, weekly social activities, regular offsite outings and a movement/dance group. There is a basketball court, volleyball court, a swimming pool, and a recreation room with pool tables and table tennis. The withdrawal management unit provides participants with the opportunity to engage in physical activities including twice daily park walks, access to the recreational room, art and crafts. There is a regular chapel service onsite which is optional.
Gold Coast AOD Services (Fairhaven and Pathways)
Gold Coast AOD Services are located on Yugambeh land in Southport and Mt Tamborine. These services provide residential and non-residential services to adults wanting to address problematic substance use.
We provide an 11-bed withdrawal management (detox) unit for mild to moderate withdrawal, where participants generally stay for seven days. Participants have their own room within the unit, with shared bathrooms.
We also provide a 56-bed residential rehabilitation program, where participants stay onsite and complete a three-month program. Participants have their own room in shared accommodation.
At Pathways, we provide pre and post treatment support, including a non-residential rehabilitation day program and SMART recovery groups.
Participants can access pre-treatment support in the community and post-treatment support upon exit from the withdrawal management unit or residential rehabilitation program.

Onsite, there is a volleyball court, a swimming pool, a recreation room with a pool table and table tennis, and access to bush walks. There is a regular chapel service onsite which is optional.
Mount Isa AOD Services
At Mount Isa, our service is located on Kalkadoon land and offers a 25-bed residential rehabilitation program predominantly to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults over 18, as well as families with dependent children. The service includes both group work, case management, and weekly one-to-one sessions with a case worker. This may include referral to specialist and other external services.
Participants’ children may also be accommodated while their parent/s engage in treatment. They will be supported to receive health checks and to engage in educational activities (for example, kindergarten, primary or secondary school).
Mt Isa AOD Services have established relationships with an array of external service providers. An individual goal plan will be created at the beginning of treatment and will remain a live document through the duration of the program. This plan will identify those services which will further support an individual’s journey during the program and post-treatment.
Mt Isa AOD Services aims to provide opportunities for participants to further strengthen their connection to community through engaging in healthy social activities, including a nutrition and exercise program, and access to men’s and women’s groups. Participants are also able to engage in cultural activities onsite and externally.
Townsville AOD Services
Located just minutes from the Townsville CBD and Strand, Townsville AOD Services are located on Wulgurukaba and Bindal land. These services provide residential services to adults wanting to address problematic substance use.
Townsville AOD Services provide a 10-bed withdrawal management (detox) unit for mild to moderate withdrawal, where participants generally stay for seven days. Participants have their own room with a shared bathroom.
There is also a 52-bed residential rehabilitation program, where participants stay onsite and complete a three-month program. Participants have their own room in shared accommodation.
Participants can access pre-treatment support in the community and post-treatment support upon exit from the withdrawal management unit or residential program. Transitional support is provided through one-to-one support, including case management, education and referral.

This plan will identify those services which will further support an individual’s journey during the program and post-treatment.
Townsville AOD Services aims to provide opportunities for participants to further strengthen their connection to community and engage in healthy social activities, including offsite outings. Art and craft activities are regularly run onsite. There is a swimming pool, a pool table, table tennis, and a recreation hall for basketball, volleyball, cricket and indoor soccer.
