Northside Church and Community Centre seeks to walk life's journey with people, building capacity in each individual and assisting people to recognise their value and worth. Community is important to us, and we encourage people to connect, build relationships and help each other along the way. You are invited to drop in and introduce yourself or explore what we have available in the following activities/programs:
If you require financial assistance to support you through a crisis, please call the Salvos Phone Assistance Line on 03 8873 5288 between Monday – Friday 9am to 4pm.
Pre-approved vouchers are available for collection at 92 Cox Road Corio on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 10.30am - 12.00pm & 1.00pm - 2.00pm.
Public Internet Access: Laptops with internet access are available for community members to use onsite. They will need to show photo ID when they fill out the agreement form at reception.

Worship Service
Every Sunday 9:30am
A relaxed and informal time of worship, learning and sharing, followed with a cuppa and chat.

Self Help
We can offer the following:-Positive Lifestyle Program - 10 week course looking at grief, anger, goal setting, etc for self evaluation and confidence boostingChristianity Explained - 6 weeks looking at the basics of what is Christianity7 Signs of John - 7 weeks looking at the miracles of Jesus and how that relates to us -
Public Internet Access
Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm
Public computers and internet are available for the community.

Nutritional Food Markets
Wednesday and Friday 1:30pm to 2:30pm
This is a contribution market where you are encouraged to contribute $2. You can purchase tickets during the market time of 1:30pm to 2:30pm. You are required to show some ID with your current address, as there is only one market attendance per household per week, so that we can assist as many households as possible with nutritional foods. Foods you may find on our market include fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry items, lentils, yoghurt, butter, cheese, meat, milk, eggs and bread.

Men’s Group
Held onsite, once a term

Games Afternoon
Tuesdays 1:30pm – 3pm in the Community Space
Come and share a laugh, a cuppa and table/cards games. Meet new friends and encourage one another.

Doorways - provides emergency relief and holistic case management with referral to internal and external support services.
Moneycare - Our qualified team understands that everyone’s finances are different. They can offer you step-by-step advice on how to put your money problems behind you.

Clothes Market
First Monday of the month at 1:30pm until 3pm
A small selection of quality affordable second-hand goods
are available.Held the first Monday of the month at 1:30pm until 3pm for the cost of $2 a basket. Baskets are provided, bring your own bags to carry your purchases home in.
