Positive Lifestyle Program
Monday to Friday, by appointment
The Positive Lifestyle Program is a fully supported eight module course that helps you gain a deeper understanding of who you are as a person. With the program covering a wide range of topics, including self-awareness, anger, depression and loneliness, stress, grief and loss, assertiveness self-esteem and future directions.

Moneycare Financial Counselling
Monday to Friday
Book an appointment with a financial counsellor for assistance and advice on overcoming difficult financial situations. Our financial counsellors can help you create a plan to get on top of your bills and can advocate for you with utility companies, financial and lending services.

Employment Plus Launch (JVES)
Monday to Friday
If you are a refugee, a person seeking asylum or otherwise new to Australia and with working rights, we can help you get ready for work and provide introductions to local employers with vacancies.
Participation in Launch is voluntary. Launch helps you build skills and confidence, find a job and stay employed.

Doorways Emergency Relief and Case Management
Monday to Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm
If you find yourself in difficult circumstances, you can access short-term financial assistance in the form of food parcels and vouchers.

COACH Community Mentoring
Monday to Friday
The Salvation Army Dandenong partners with the COACH Network to provide mentoring that aims to empower individuals and families through one-to-one mentoring, breaking generational cycles of poverty and family breakdown.
Please contact us whether you think mentoring might help you flourish or are interesting in volunteering as a mentor.

Building Bridges Alcohol and Other Drug Day Program
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, plus Tuesday or Thursday
Is your alcohol or other drug use causing problems in your life?
Building Bridges is a 10 week day recovery program with group sessions on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays as well as individual sessions on Tuesdays or Thursdays. All sessions operate in school hours to allow parents and care givers to take part.

Life Groups
Various times during week, during school terms
Meet people, grow in community and explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
Life groups run for a school term. Each group runs on a different topic, and some are in languages other than English. At the end of the term new topics are decided, and all are welcome to pick a new group that suits them.

Chat 'n' Chew
Tuesday 12.00pm, during school terms
Join with a supportive group of people to enjoy your lunch together and share your stories.
Bring your own lunch, and spend some time in good company (even if we do say so ourselves). Tea and coffee provided.
Chat ’n’ Chew follows one of our Life Groups, but the invitation is open to anyone who would like to join in the chatting and chewing.

Worship with us (church)

The Salvation Army Dandenong Corps is a community church that embraces many cultures while celebrating the Christian Faith. Everyone is welcome to join us for our multi-cultural church service.

Youth Group
Every second Friday 6.30pm, during school terms.
If you’re in high school, you’re invited to hang out with with us at Dandenong Salvos
Open for those in high school, youth group is a place you can connect and hang out with other teens. The program varies each time we meet, so get in contact and find out what we’re up to next.
The Salvation Army is a Child Safe Organisation and as such is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

Playgroup
Wednesday 10.00am (during school term)
Meet with a supportive group of parents while your children learn by playing with others.
Playgroup is a time of learning and engagement for 0-5 year olds. Come along to meet other parents, and to play, read stories, sing and dance. Please bring food and drink for your child’s morning tea.

Kid's Church (Sunday School)
Sunday 10.00am, during school term
A fun and engaging program for primary school kids, helping them to discover Jesus and grow in faith.
Kid's join in the main worship service (church) for the first 15 minutes or so, and then head to Kid's Church (Sunday School) for their own activities.
