Every month on a Tuesday, a group gathers and sets out for an adventure based on the idea that good company, good scenery and good coffee are beneficial to the soul.

Location: VariesNorwest Men is men from Rouse Hill, Dural and Hawkesbury and beyond meeting together for a great feed and regular catch up to chat and share the journey of life together. Music & Play
Day/Time: Wednesdays 10AM
277 New Line Rd, DuralMainly music provides a fun and exciting music program for preschoolers and their parent/caregiver. Enjoy time with your child and meet other parents from our local community.
The cost is $10 per family (no matter how many children you have) which includes the music session, occasional craft activities and morning tea for the grown ups. You will need to provide morning tea for your children (no nuts please).

Family Fun Days
During the year we have a number of events aimed at getting all the family together for some fun and conversation. This includes events such as kids motorbike rides, outdoor movie nights, bonfire nights, food and feast nights and many more. This is a great time to come and relax with other families and friends.

In one of our small groups you’ll spend time together doing life, study scripture together, and pray together. Groups can come in all shapes and sizes — married couples, singles, men, women, kids, no kids, under 20, over 40 — the list goes on. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you. And if there isn’t we are always looking at more opportunities to connect people together grounded in God’s word.

On Saturdays and weeekdays you will find us out and about in the community.
We have a collection bucket and a variety of literature available to spark conversations including Warcrys, Kidzones and information about our church and activities as well as stickers for young children. We have a tax deductible receipt book for donations made to our community work.

A group music therapy program tailored to reaching those with additional needs and their families.
Music therapy promotes well-being, socialisation, communication, promotes relaxation, and stimulating ordered thinking, encourages the expression of emotions, while also decreases anxieties.

Masters qualified music therapist, Talitha Evans’ love of music and passion for inclusive community helped her develop a 1 hr music therapy program in partnership with The Salvation Army. Using music to help people with mental health issues, disabilities, and emotional and behavioural disorders filling a great need in 3 community locations.We are NDIS certified so you can use NDIS funds.
Sessions from as little as $50 per session. -

Day/Time: Tuesdays 10:00AM - 1:00PM
Location: 290 George St, Windsor NSW 2756Each week we provide opportunities to purchase affordable food hampers, and also a free fruit and vegetable and bakery program for all.
We also provide support and referrals for: financial support, counselling, case work, advocating and so much more.
Most importantly you will always find listening ear, a cup or tea or coffee and a safe place for anyone to come

Tribe Parents
Tribe parents is a weekly space where parents can come and be refreshed, connected, supported and at times take time out to learn something new.

Transport Support
Project CSC has a wheelchair vehicle available to borrow to for appointments where needed.

Suspended Coffee / Cafe Support
Where a family has short notice of a hospital stay or emergency visit; we place $30 on a “café” card for a coffee and meal until plans are in place for more onging support.

Siblings Support
This year we are launching one of our priorities!! To help siblings have some timeout, having fun and connecting with other kids who are also siblings to a child with additional needs.

Men's Activities
Focuses on monthly catch up’s over dinner or BBQ and allows time to connect with both dads of kids with additional needs and other men in the community.

Medication Cost Support
Some funds are made available for short term support for families to help cover medication or chemist costs.

Meals @ Short Notice
Providing home-made meals to families with nutritious and filling ingredients in order for the family to put plans into place for periods where hospital stays or repeated appointments at very short notice occur.

Inclusive Community Events
We see that one of its vital roles is creating opportunities for the community to be involved in active “Inclusion practices”, such as inclusive carols, dance days, carers days & speaking events.

Hospital & Home Visits
Where a family has emergency trips and planned stays at hospital, Project CSC believes in the importance of visiting and being physically present. This may help with bringing in a meal or simply sitting and being support for families. This includes visits in the home also.

Grief & Loss Support
Project CSC works closely with both the family and extended community to provide emotional, spiritual and practical support wherever possible.

Family Holiday & Sensory Days
Project CSC creates opportunities during school holiday periods specially planned for families with children with additional needs, who may need more specific activities, whilst still be available to siblings and the whole family unit.

Advocacy & Referral
We focus on identifying individual and family needs, making referrals to existing agencies as well as advocating with NDIS and relevant departments as required. We aim to build capacity, confidence, resilience and help to educate and empower families to manage and expand their communities of support and service.

Sunday Morning Worship

Location: 6A Edwards Rd, Nelson NSW 2765Worship services are a gathering and celebration of people from all walks of life and all different ages.
Our church aims for a family friendly service, ensuring we plan for our littlest people right through to those who’ve seen many years in life. Come and experience our church.
Morning services start with music aimed at focusing our thoughts on God. During our services there is time to talk about and pray about local and international issues and to hear about the life of the church. We share news about upcoming events and are challenged and enriched by God’s word through our pastors’ messages and guest speakers.
There’s an opportunity for a great morning tea and a chat after church.

Project CSC
Project CSC is an initiative of The Salvation Army based out of Rouse Hill. C.S.C stands for Connect, Support, Community and aims to support families of children with medically complex or additional needs practically, socially, spiritually and emotionally within the Hills District and further into the Northwest Sydney corridor.
Our aim is to provide social and emotional support by facilitating pastoral conversations, providing and engaging in social and emotional support groups and where possible supporting whole complex and special needs communities’ well-being activities.
It is essential to have natural opportunities to meet and engage with families to build relationship so that open sharing and trust can be built, grow and thrive.

Mini Ekids
Day/Time: Sunday 10:30AM
Location: 6A Edwards Rd, Nelson NSW 2765In mini ekids we use the Orange curriculum which has 3 main truths that we want our young ones to understand and know in their heart:
“God made me” – “God loves me” and “Jesus wants to be my friend forever”. We teach 4-5 week blocks with a common theme.
Throughout the lesson there are fun and engaging introductory activities, songs, DVD stories, art and craft activities and a time for reflection and prayer. We keep the young ones busy with fun and interactive learning sessions.

Junior Soldiers

Location: 6A Edwards Rd, Nelson NSW 2765A fun and engaging program for primary school kids, teaching about Christianity as well as the history and culture of The Salvation Army.

Inspire
Day/Time: 1st Tuesday of each month
Location: VariesINSPIRE is for women of all ages.
Throughout the year there are various opportunities and events for women to get together and have fun, enjoy each other’s company and share the journey of life. You do not need to be part of Rouse Hill Region Salvation Army to be part of INSPIRE … all women are welcome
Events range from Monthly Coffee Nights on the first Tuesday of the Month, Craft Days, High Teas and more.

ETeens
Fortnightly
ETeens is our youth program for young people from start of high school up. ETeens meets on a fortnightly basis and alternates between ETeens Social and ETeens Study.
ETeens Social are fun social events that encourage our youth to build better relationships with peers whilst having an awesome time. This varies from escape room nights, Laser Tag and movies nights and much more.
ETeens Study This is our youth small group, where young people meet together under the guidance of a leader / pastor to learn more about following Jesus. Our ETeens Study meets once a month.

Ekids
Day/Time: Sunday 10:30AM
Location: 6A Edwards Rd, Nelson NSW 2765Ekids is for children in Yr 1 - Yr 6 In Ekids, we are focusing on learning the Bible through storying.
Each week the children hear a new story in chronological order where they are encouraged to understand when the story occurred in history, to discover how the story is connected to Jesus and ultimately, how they can continue the story of Jesus’ redemption in their own lives. Kids have the chance to learn through a variety of styles including crafts, games and experiments all focused on growing their hearts and minds.

Community Garden
We have a local community garden in Nelson NSW, planned in order to build community, demonstrate environmental sustainability, promote active health and well being. Provide for access and inclusion in our community.
We would like to model a community of hope and love, and what better way to experience that through a positive caring community garden. We would like to encourage all kinds of people into this project, from the garden pro’s to the absolute clueless when it comes to gardening. We hope as we journey together this project will strengthen and build positive, caring and trusting community.
