Salvos Sleepout
Each night, thousands of people across Australia sleep in unsafe and inhospitable spaces — in cars, tents or even out in the open — because they have nowhere else to go. You can help change that.
What is a Salvos Sleepout?
Salvos Sleepout is an event that highlights the issue of homelessness in Australia and encourages the community to show they care. The event involves participants spending a night sleeping out in the open with limited comforts and learning about the challenges faced by those who sleep rough daily.
Who can join the Salvos Sleepout?
If you are passionate about ending homelessness and supporting those doing it tough — we need you. By registering for the Salvos Sleepout, you will help raise much needed funds to help Aussies facing homelessness get the support they need.
How does it work?
You can sign up now to secure your entry to this year’s Salvos Sleepout by registering as an individual or as part of a team. You can share the event with your friends and family, and ask them to support your efforts by donating or fundraising in any way they can.
How much does it cost to join a Salvos Sleepout?
You will need to raise a minimum of $100 to be eligible to participate in the Salvos Sleepout.
