Corporate Fundraising
Workplace fundraising is a great way to strengthen a positive workplace culture as employees rally together, reflect on the experiences of others and show their commitment to making a difference.
Whether in the office, or working remotely, fundraising to help the most vulnerable people in Australia provides an opportunity for employees to connect over a common goal – it may even bring out some friendly competition between departments!
There are so many ways to fundraise, here are just a few suggestions:
Hold an office event
Incorporate company team building days with a fundraising target.
Events could include:
- Bake sale
- Cooking competition
- Bbq
- Golf, handball, or table tennis competition
Team or personal challenges
Team and personal challenges encourage resilience, team work and a sense of accomplishment – add an additional incentive by matching the donation of the team/individual who raises the highest amount.
Challenges could include:
- Couch surfing for a week
- Sleep outside for a night
- Live on $40 a day for two weeks (the amount a person on Newstart must live on – this includes rent/mortgage and bills)
Digital Doorknock for the Red Shield Appeal
The Salvation Army’s Digital Doorknock is easy to set up and gives you the opportunity to set a fundraising goal, recognise each contributor and share fundraising initiatives or stories specifically related to your organisation.
Set up a fundraising page
We’ve made setting up a fundraising page simple and fun to do. Employees can easily track progress as they work towards their goal, or speak to your Relationship Manager.
