Early career services can include:
Supervision
Supervision is an important part of learning and development and can be an industry / sector requirement in particular roles. Early careers can assist with arranging:
- Additional supervision provided by an internal or external professional, who will arrange regular meetings to address any challenges or support needs.
- Ongoing supervisory support and workshops, offered in group or one-on-one "safe" environments. These sessions, led by industry professionals, provide opportunities for conversation, debriefing, questions, and learning.
- Monthly meetings for guidance, advice, and peer networking to foster a supportive community.
Career Planning and Guidance
Our career planning and guidance team can:
- Assist in assessing skills, interests, and career goals to identify growth areas
- Assist in resume, cover letter, and job application preparation and development
- Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback on the process
- Offer support on stress management and work-life balance and refer to available resources.
- Support individuals in building professional networks
Mentoring
Individuals will be provided access to mentors with strong industry connections, offering networking opportunities and guidance on prospective employment outcomes, helping you shape your career path.
Mentoring sessions are held monthly and provide opportunity for the mentor to share valuable skills, knowledge, and experience to support the individuals professional development. Mentoring sessions cover key areas such as:
