Create positive change with Kmart this Christmas

The Salvation Army is proud to be the founding charity partner of The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal. This year, more than ever before, we are calling for support with any gift or monetary contributions in-store and online, to help give a new beginning to those doing it tough.
Join the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal

The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal which started in 1987 aims to make Christmas brighter for Aussies facing hardship or crisis, through the delivery of gifts to those in need nationwide, including people impacted by the ongoing cost of living challenges.

This festive season, we call on the community to support those doing it tough by dropping off a new gift under the Wishing Tree at any Kmart or K hub store, or by making a monetary contribution in-store or online. The ongoing support by the community during this time of year will make an incredible difference to the lives of so many Australians in need of a helping hand this Christmas.

As John Gualtieri, Chief Executive Officer Kmart and Target puts it, it’s the immense support and collaboration between Kmart’s near 50,000 strong team and their local Salvos representatives around Australia that has become key to ensuring that local families right around the country have the Christmas they deserve despite their personal circumstances.
