Volunteers needed for Christmas toybank program

29 February 2012

We need your help! Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our Community? The Salvation Army Christmas Toybank Programme has been in partnership with Kmart for the last twenty four years. It’s a great programme that helps provide Christmas gifts to children and their families who do it tough and often go without.

Our program has recently grown, and we need some passionate volunteers who are community-minded and want to make a contribution to their community. If you can give a minimum of one day a week to help at our Toybank in Brunswick, with sorting, unpacking, and categorising of gifts for children aged 0-12 years, then we’d love to hear from you.

We need your help and goodwill to enable us to continue making a difference. You’ll enjoy working in a great team environment where it’s Christmas time all year round!

We have a flexible and friendly work environment, travel reimbursement & meal allowance, and you’ll gain meaningful community work experience in a program that makes a real difference!
