About the Centre for Restoration
The Centre for Restoration exists to support people who wish to bring a grievance against The Salvation Army for abuse suffered.
We help survivors of abuse move forward in their journey of healing and restoration. When responding to complaints or allegations we are guided by the principles that all people are entitled to:
- Dignity and respect
- Privacy and confidentiality
- A fair process
- Prompt and timely support
In its engagement with survivors of abuse, The Salvation Army believes that the principles of restorative justice are very important. With this in mind, The Salvation Army wants to support survivors to obtain the outcomes that are the most meaningful for them.
