Salvo Women

Every second Wednesday  12.00 - 2.00pm

It’s about women of any age meeting together in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, conversations about anything, sharing tips and ideas, having a cuppa while sharing lunch together.

Messy Church is not ‘just for children’— Messy Church is not ‘a way to get people to come to Sunday church’—it is a way of being church for people of all ages involving fun. It’s an alternative worship time, we run a monthly, fun, family time, of activities and worship in a more relaxed style. It’s a time to explore God through craft and games. Latrobe Valley Doorways (Community Support Services)

57 Bridle Road, Morwell

Latrobe Valley Doorways (CSS) operates from 57 Bridle Road, Morwell.

Our aim is to support people in our community as they seek to make changes in their lives, provide emergency relief and holistic case management with referral to internal and external support services. Our Doorways caseworker is available to walk alongside people as they develop plans to achieve new life goals. We believe everyone has the capacity to change. 

Our doors are open for Phone Assistance Line Card Collection and/or Material Assistance - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only. Between 10am - 2pm.  No appointments are necessary.

If you are in need of financial assistance to get you through a crisis, call the Salvos Phone Assistance Line - 03 8873 5288 between 9am – 4pm - Monday – Friday.

Jumble Shed

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-2pm

When you shop at the Salvos, you help others in need. Because you’re buying preloved goods, it’s also good for the environment. At the same time, you can have great fun searching for rare treasures, funky styles and other amazing bargains. Drop in and browse our collection of quality second-hand clothing and household items. EFTPOS is available.

We rely on donations of quality goods so that you can find your next great bargain. If you've got some great stuff at home that you're not using anymore, you can help someone in need by donating it at our place. All money that is spent stays local and helps others in need.

We’re always looking for new volunteers. Any level of contribution is appreciated, whether it is a few hours each week or a few days; it all helps us make a difference.  For more information, please give us call

We offer great bargains at our Jumble Shed. Drop in and see our great range of goods and get to know us.

Café Church

2nd Sunday of each month. 10.00am – 11.30am

Come and meet new people, sing a few songs and hear a short Bible message in a relaxed family friendly environment. Enjoy a cuppa with light breakie and accompanying good conversation. Everyone is welcome!
